I am berry veryy larry proud of myself! Usually we would just do streaking, and the results of streaking bacteria would end up like the picture on the right. I never go my streaking plate back because I did it in a replacement lab, because i was still in physio when they did this first lab.
Now on my 3rd lab of microbiology, I did the agar! and it was real fun! It took me like 3 hours to finish the lab when most of the class had finished 30 minutes earlier!
But my lab coordinator helped me to clean up my table while i was still filling in my papers! She said more than 1 occasion, you're doing very well! and today she said "this is your thing." woaw yah im happy, She said I did really well because i didnt have a lab partner and managed everything on my own. I think she was impressed and I was really glad and it brightened up my day!
Because i thought i was being a slow poke and i had gotten crappy results for my spectrometer readings coz of my serial dilutions but it ended up being accepted. =) and because of the whole mix up of not being able to get my lab components coz they had run out and others used it alot, i spent quite some time just walking around trying to find my shit. so YEAY! im happy =)
I am happy that I have an instructor that genuinely thinks im good at something now FOR A LONG TIME!
and she said, " today was a long lab, its very good that you could do it without a lab partner! "

Seriously, i think i would enjoy honors or masters in some area of microbiology.
